GlutenGo provides educational information about ingredients, gluten-free living, recipes, restaurants, and related lifestyle topics. GlutenGo is not a medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency tool. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian for medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or dietary decisions.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GlutenGo -including the website, mobile app, product scanner, AI assistant, restaurant tools, recipes, shopping list, and related services -you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and by our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not access or use GlutenGo.
You must be old enough under the laws of your jurisdiction to use online services on your own. If you are not, you may use GlutenGo only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
Nature of Service
3.1 Informational Tool Only
GlutenGo is an informational and educational tool that helps you explore gluten-free products, discover recipes, look up restaurants, manage shopping lists, and ask general questions to an AI assistant focused on gluten-free and celiac topics.
3.2 Not Medical Advice or Healthcare Service
GlutenGo is not a medical service and does not, in any form, provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. GlutenGo does not act as a healthcare provider, does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and does not create a doctor-patient relationship. GlutenGo does not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional and does not guarantee that any food, recipe, product, or restaurant is safe for you specifically.
3.3 User Preferences
Any dietary preferences, saved products, favorite restaurants, shopping list items, or app settings are choices you make for yourself. They are user-selected preferences only -not medical diagnoses, prescriptions, or professional recommendations from GlutenGo.
3.4 Ingredient and Food Information Limitations
GlutenGo may rely on third-party databases, barcode data, user input, restaurant information, AI tools, product labels, and publicly available sources. GlutenGo does not manufacture, independently verify, test, or certify any product or restaurant. Information shown in the app may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, region-specific, or affected by label changes, restaurant preparation changes, or cross-contamination risks.
3.5 User Responsibility
You are responsible for reading and verifying product labels, checking allergen statements, confirming information directly with restaurants, consulting healthcare professionals, making your own dietary decisions, and following the medical advice given to you by your doctor or registered dietitian.
Subscriptions, Purchases, and Ads
Some features of GlutenGo may be free, while others may be offered as paid, premium, subscription-based, or ad-supported features now or in the future.
- Purchases or subscriptions, if offered, may be processed through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
- App store payment, billing, cancellation, and refund terms may apply to your transaction.
- GlutenGo may display advertisements through services such as Google AdMob.
- Ad personalization may depend on your consent, device settings, and applicable law.
GlutenGo does not promise that any feature will remain free or available. Pricing, availability, and feature scope may change.
Acceptable Use
When using GlutenGo, you agree not to:
- Use GlutenGo for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
- Use GlutenGo to provide medical or healthcare advice to other people
- Misuse the AI assistant, including attempts to bypass safety guidance
- Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app or its components
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from GlutenGo
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to collect data from the app or website
- Circumvent usage limits, security features, ads, or access controls
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload GlutenGo or its infrastructure
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Use another person’s account without their explicit permission
- Build a competing product using GlutenGo’s content, data, or designs
- Share, resell, or improperly distribute access to any premium features
Medical and Health Disclaimers
6.1 Consult Healthcare Professionals
You should consult a qualified healthcare professional or a registered dietitian before making any medical or dietary decisions, especially if you have celiac disease, food allergies, severe sensitivities, or another health condition.
6.2 No Medical Claims
GlutenGo makes no medical claims and does not promise any health outcome, symptom improvement, disease prevention, or suitability for your individual medical needs.
6.3 Emergency Situations
GlutenGo is not an emergency service. If you experience severe symptoms, an allergic reaction, difficulty breathing, or any other medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
6.4 Allergies, Celiac Disease, and Severe Reactions
If you have celiac disease, food allergies, severe sensitivities, or are at risk of serious reactions, you must not rely on GlutenGo as your only source of information. Always read product labels carefully, check allergen warnings, contact manufacturers or restaurants when in doubt, follow the instructions of your healthcare provider, and carry any prescribed emergency medication.
6.5 Ingredient Accuracy and Product Changes
Product formulations, labels, ingredients, allergen warnings, recipes, and restaurant menus may change without notice. Even if GlutenGo previously displayed a product or restaurant as a possible option, you must verify current information before consuming any food.
6.6 Cross-Contamination
GlutenGo cannot detect or guarantee the absence of gluten cross-contamination or other allergen cross-contact risks during manufacturing, storage, preparation, or service.
6.7 Individual Variation
Dietary tolerance and medical needs vary significantly from person to person. Information shown by GlutenGo does not mean a food is safe or unsafe for every individual.
6.8 Not a Substitute for Label Reading
GlutenGo is a supplemental tool only. It does not replace reading product labels, checking allergen statements, or verifying restaurant information.
AI Assistant
The GlutenGo AI assistant provides general educational guidance about gluten-free living, celiac disease, ingredients, labels, recipes, restaurants, shopping, and related lifestyle topics.
- AI responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for your specific situation.
- AI responses do not replace professional medical, nutritional, or legal advice.
- You should not rely solely on AI responses for safety-critical or medical decisions.
- Avoid submitting highly sensitive personal or medical information to the assistant.
- GlutenGo may limit the AI assistant to gluten-free and celiac-related topics and may decline certain requests.
User Accounts
Some features may require you to create an account. When you do, you are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Not sharing or transferring your account improperly
GlutenGo may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, commit fraud, or engage in conduct that is harmful to GlutenGo or other users.
User Content and Saved Data
Within GlutenGo you may save or create items such as:
- Saved products and scan history
- Favorite restaurants
- Shopping lists
- AI chat messages
- Personal preferences and app settings
- Search history
You are responsible for the content you submit, save, or share. Do not submit unlawful, harmful, private, or sensitive information that you do not want to be processed by the app or its service providers.
Intellectual Property Rights
The GlutenGo app, website, brand, name, logos, designs, text, graphics, icons, software, source code, features, and content are owned by GlutenGo or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, publish, or create derivative works from any part of GlutenGo without our prior written permission.
Data and Privacy
Your use of GlutenGo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what information is collected and how it is used.

Third-Party Services
GlutenGo may rely on third-party services to operate, including:
- Firebase and other Google services
- Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, and Facebook Login
- Google AdMob
- Google Maps or links to external mapping services
- OpenAI or another AI provider
- Apple App Store
- Google Play Store
- Payment providers, if subscriptions are added in the future
Third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies. GlutenGo is not responsible for third-party services, websites, data, content, or practices.
Disclaimer of Warranties
GlutenGo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GlutenGo disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Uninterrupted or always-available service
- Error-free or bug-free operation
- Accuracy or completeness of ingredient information
- Accuracy or completeness of restaurant information
- Accuracy or appropriateness of AI responses
- Safety of any specific product or food item
- Absence of gluten, allergens, or cross-contamination
- Suitability of the app for your individual medical or dietary needs
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GlutenGo, its team, contributors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising out of or related to:
- Your dietary choices and food consumption
- Allergic reactions, illness, or injury
- Reliance on information shown in the app or website
- AI assistant responses
- Inaccurate or outdated product or restaurant data
- Cross-contamination or undisclosed ingredients
- Failure to read product labels or verify information
- Failure to consult a qualified healthcare professional
- Acts, omissions, or content of third-party services
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GlutenGo, its team, contributors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use or misuse of GlutenGo
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or third-party right
- Your dietary decisions and food consumption
- Your reliance on information shown in the app
- Content you submit, save, or share through the app
- Your negligence or intentional misconduct
Account Deletion and Termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the app by going to Profile > Privacy > Delete my account. GlutenGo may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the service if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, commit fraud, or engage in activity that is harmful to GlutenGo or other users.
App Store Terms (Apple and Google Play)
If you access or download GlutenGo through the Apple App Store, this section applies in addition to the rest of these Terms. This Agreement is between you and GlutenGo only, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for GlutenGo or its content.
The license granted to you to use GlutenGo is limited to a non-transferable license to use the app on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules.
- Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for GlutenGo.
- In the event of any failure of GlutenGo to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app to you, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to GlutenGo.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to GlutenGo, including product liability claims, claims that GlutenGo fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
- Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of any third-party claim that GlutenGo, or your possession and use of it, infringes that third party's intellectual property rights.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using GlutenGo, such as your wireless data service agreement.
- Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
- If you access or download GlutenGo through the Google Play Store, you must also comply with the applicable Google Play terms and conditions, which may govern download, installation, payment processing, cancellation, refunds, and other aspects of your use.
Changes to These Terms
- GlutenGo may update these Terms from time to time.
- The latest version will be posted on this page.
- The “Last updated” date above will change when updates are made.
- Your continued use of GlutenGo after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR COUNTRY/STATE], unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of GlutenGo will be resolved in the courts or dispute resolution forum located in [YOUR JURISDICTION], unless otherwise required by applicable law.
General Provisions
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and GlutenGo regarding your use of the service.

- No waiver: GlutenGo’s failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. GlutenGo may assign its rights and obligations.
- Headings: Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

- AI assistant responses may be imperfect and should not be relied on for medical or safety decisions
- GlutenGo’s liability is limited as described in these Terms
